This week I got to go on two exchanges! I am always amazed by how much I learn from the sweet sisters I serve with! On Wednesday I exchanged with Hermana Nichols! She is so cute! We did lots of service and she just worked and worked! She is a great example to me of serving with all your might! Yesterday I got to double exchange, so I had Sister Foy and Hermana Dahlke! It was pretty much like spending a day with my besties! We laughed so hard! We also had an amazing lesson! They seriously blew me away with their teaching skills!
Thursday was Thanksgiving and it was awesome! My heart is overflowing with thanks for all of my many blessings! We had breakfast with the Morby family! They are such a fun family and I laugh 99% of the time that we go over there! We spent Thanksgiving dinner with Sister McGoffin who is an angel! She always makes us feel right at home when we walk in her house and we even got to decorate her Christmas tree on Friday!
So at zone conference, my zone leaders gave a wonderful training on how faith precedes miracles and that we need to have the faith to find the elect people in our areas. Ever since then, I have been praying with my whole heart that we would find someone who is prepared to receive the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. On Sunday, we were sitting in sacrament meeting. Sister Stapelman nudged me and told me there was a man named Earnest standing in the foyer. They had talked to him at the park a while back but haven't been able to get in contact with him since. We invited him to come sit with us and after the meeting we were talking with him. He said that ever since he met the sisters at the park he has had a special feeling in his heart. He said he came to church to feel that again. we asked if we could meet with him and he said he would love that. So we taught him the plan of Salvation yesterday and invited him to be baptized in December. He is praying about it, so please pray for Earnest as he continues in his conversion process. Faith. Faith precedes the miracle. "Ask and ye shall recieve. Knock and it shall be opened unto you."
Much love!!!
